ALP's UK and EU launch announcement names markets, eight flavours and a Conor McGregor partnership, but states no nicotine strength figure for any product.

ALP lands in the UK with eight flavours, a 21+ line and no milligram figure in the release

ALP announced its entry into the UK and EU in a release dated London, 23 July 2026. The announcement says ALP nicotine pouches were available in the UK and EU from 1 July 2026, and in Ireland, Greece, Romania, Switzerland and Hungary from 8 July 2026, through alppouch.eu. It describes the launch as part of a rollout across eleven European markets during July.

The flavour list runs to eight. Four are described as staples — Chilled Mint, Mountain Wintergreen, Tropical Fruit and Spearmint — and four are introduced for the European markets: Cherries & Berries, Sweet Mint, Frostbite and Grape Ice. The release also records a global partnership with Conor McGregor running through 2026, and states that ALP Supply Co. LLC is jointly owned by Turning Point Brands and Tucker Carlson Network.

What the announcement does not carry is a number. It says the pouches are “available in a range of flavours and nicotine strengths” and then names no milligram figure, for any of the eight flavours or for the range as a whole. That is a statement about the launch announcement, not about the brand: ALP’s European storefront, read on 6 September 2026, publishes strengths of 6 mg, 12 mg and 18 mg and its own copy invites buyers to pick between them. The silence is the release’s.

Two further things a UK reader cannot read off the announcement. It gives no UK price — the storefront this desk could reach was the Irish locale, priced in euros, and the en-gb store path returned a 404 — and its age line is the brand’s own. ALP describes its pouches as intended exclusively for adults aged 21 and over who already use nicotine. That is ALP’s wording, not a UK legal threshold; the brand’s own storefront footer separately says purchasers must be 18 or over.

The UK threshold is set out in DHSC guidance. From 29 October 2026 the age of sale for all vaping and nicotine products is 18 and over, and it becomes an offence across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to sell them to anyone aged 17 or under, under the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026. The guidance names nicotine pouches expressly among the products in scope, and says the offence reaches retailers including online ones.

Nicotine pouches remain an unlicensed consumer category in the UK: nothing in this launch is authorised or approved by any UK regulator, and a stated strength is a disclosure, not a safety claim. We have made the same point about disclosure practice in our review of ZIG’s first pouch range, where the strength tiers reached the trade press before they reached the buyer. Contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical, and these products are for adults only.
